The field of toys is a wide-ranged field. The part of the field which we deal with is the part where chemical substances and products are being used as toys or form parts of toys.
Joint Council of Creative and Hobby Materials (FFFH in danish)
A lot of legislation exists within the field of toys in the shape of directives etc. Trade specific agreements exist such as the criteria of the Joint Council of Creative and Hobby Materials for products being used by children. The Danish Environmental Protection Service, ‘Miljøstyrelsen', recommends that institutions and the like only buy products being evaluated according to the criteria of the Joint Council of Creative and Hobby Materials.
The Criterions of the FFFH
Bureau Veritas HSE can evaluate whether the product contains substances being in conflict with regulations and rules within the field. We will evaluate the product according to the criteria of the Joint Council of Creative and Hobby Materials and group it in the category A, B, C or D.
Furthermore, we will be pleased to help you with the contact to sub-suppliers regarding possible problems/questions or substitution of dangerous substances. Bureau Veritas HSE will take the responsibility for the evaluations and the MSDS which we have elaborated.
