Bureau Veritas HSE has developed the environmental database Toxido^® with the purpose of making life easier when handling chemicals.

Toxido^® is a tool for elaboration of all relevant documentation in connection with sales and marketing of chemicals. Thanks to this tool, you will be able to elaborate safety data sheets (MSDS), workplace instructions, danger labels, waste and transport documents in a very well-arranged way.

Toxido^® is being used inhouse by Bureau Veritas HSE's employees which is a guarantee for quality as well as for continuous update of the legislation. Toxido^® is, consequently, not only an IT system – but even a system containing knowledge, currently being updated.

‘Systematic' knowledge

Through more than 10 years, we have registered, evaluated and classified several thousands of substances in our database. This knowledge has been systematised and we can, consequently, offer a unique IT-solution in which you take care of update, evaluation and maintenance. However, we will take care of the continuous back-up ensuring that you and your employees always work with a knowledge being up-to-date.

The database contains information on more than 10,000 substances and ‘it has knowledge ‘collected' from national and international legislative databases. The continuous dialogue with the authorities as well as numerous other companies guarantees a dynamic and continuously updated system.

Nationally as well as internationally

Toxido^® can be used nationally as well as internationally with either Danish or English as working language and as much as 24 printout languages.

Flexible solution

Toxido^® is module build system with possibilities for constructing a package solution according to your current wishes and demands. The basic module with the functions document and chemical control as well as evaluation of substitution can be enlarged with the following modules:

Choice of solution

Toxido^® can be delivered as PC, server or internet solution. The application of Toxido^® can be combined with consultancy in a such way that you do the part which you want and Bureau Veritas HSE does the rest – in the same system! The solution being chosen can easily become integrated in your administrative systems which means that maintenance will only has to be done in one single place.
