REACH and changes in the safety data sheet - MSDS

The EU chemical reform REACH has finally entered into force on 1 June 2007. REACH affects all companies in Europe. Some companies of course more than other companies, however all companies will be affected! We would like to take the opportunity to inform you that REACH results in concrete changes in the EU safety data sheet - MSDS.

REACH and changes in safety data sheets - MSDS

 
With the adoption of REACH, a range of changes in the safety data sheet exists. It is important to note that these changes HAD to be carried through before 1 June 2007. 
 
 

Changes in the material safety data sheet - MSDS:

• A range of text changes have been made
• The titles of four of the sixteen items in the safety data sheet will be changed
• Item nos. 2 and 3 change succession in the safety data sheet
• Content related changes exist in the items nos. 1, 3, 8 12, 15 and 16.
